A couple of fun commissions. First, I talk with the person who wants the painting made asking lots of questions about the nature of the pet. Is he or she playful or serious? Old or young? Funny? Lazy? I also want to know what games he or she likes to play. What are their favorite toys? Then I need several photos of the pet in different settings; at rest, playing, snuggling, interacting with friends and family and other animals. It's from all of this I make my paintings.
